LicenceRep was established to provide individuals and businesses with direct access to informed, practical licensing assistance without the need for every matter to be dealt with through a traditional legal practice.
LicenceRep's current casework practice is principally focused on taxi and private hire licensing.
Eddie Grice
Eddie Grice is an experienced licensing caseworker and industry representative whose work has included individual case representation, licensing policy, regulatory analysis and engagement with Licensing Authorities and other stakeholders.
He is a founding member and General Secretary of the Scottish Private Hire Association and serves on the board of the National Private Hire and Taxi Association. He is also a member of the Institute of Licensing.
His work has included representing licence holders and applicants in licensing matters, contributing to regulatory and policy discussions and writing on licensing issues for industry publications including Private Hire & Taxi Monthly.
LicenceRep and the SPHA
LicenceRep is not part of the Scottish Private Hire Association. It is an independent private practice and is separate from the SPHA.
SPHA members receive casework and representation through their SPHA membership subject to the scope and terms of that membership. LicenceRep provides separately instructed professional services outside the SPHA membership model.
